Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City Engineer having reported the com-
pletion of the construction of an irrigation system on 9th Avenue South in Local Im-
provement District No.. 529 by the contractor in the sum of $5,999.99, said work is
hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll and the
City Clerk directed to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, June 27th, 1938,
at 9 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that. the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give
notice to contractors for paving 25th Avenue South from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln
Avenue in Local Improvement District No. 532 by publication as required by law; said
bids to be received on Monday, June 20th, 1938 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -309, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of install-
ments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local
Improvement District No. 525, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons
attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof ", was introduced by Washburn
and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that Ordinance No. B -309 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.

Anton Gervis for a change from Residence District "B" to "Business District" for the
west 150 feet of .the South 125' of Lot 9, Fairchilds.Acre Tracts is hereby granted:
carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE 110. B -310, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE relating to the use of vehicles on city
streets; providing for the vehicle equipment inspection thereof; prohibiting the use
of uninspected, defective and rejected vehicles; declaring certain acts to be unlawful;
providing for certain power and duties; defining terms; defining offenses and provid-
ing penalties therefor ",, was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk.
