Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 16th; 1938 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as .read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $33$.45; Cemetery Trust $1,777.71; L.I.D. Revolving $422.97; Fixed Estimate X35.00; Cemetery $3.00; Irrigation $62.76;-Bond Sinking 3.00; City Street $42x+.59, Park $15.29 and Water Dep- osit $397.00: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. 0-332, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 8, Block 1, Ray's Nob Hill Addition, Yakima., Washington. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 8, Block 1;'Ra.y's Nob Hill Addition, Yakima, Washington, according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor by the Treasurer of Yakima County, County of Yakima.., State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell s�kid premises to LEE L. BRUFF, an unmarried man, NOW,THEREFORE) BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF.YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That.said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to LEE L. BRUFF, an unmarried man, for the total sum of One Thousand and No /100 ($1,000.00) Dollars; and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is hereby authorized to execute aL deed to said premises, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima. B -307, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE amending Section 67 of Article 8 of Ordi- nance No. B -131, entitled "AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their indicents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses; providing penalties and repealing certain ordinances concerned with or re- lating to the subject matter of this ordinance, and declaring an emergency ", passed and approved on the 26th day of February, 1936, as amended, by adding a new subsection to Section 67 of Article 8, regulating parking," was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -307 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -307 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. May 230 1938 _ I Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -327 for the construction of a. pavement on 25th Avenue from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue and there being insufficient protests to said improvement or any part thereof; it is hereby ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -308, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima,, Washington, by grading and widening the existing six inch one course pavement to. a width of 24 feet and by constructing the necessary curbs and walks at Twenty. -fifth Avenue North from Summitview Avenue to Lincoln Avenue; establishing a local improvement district, providing for the method. of payment therefor.and creating a special fund ", was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk.
