Mloved by Riley„ seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 9th, 1935 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent. Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that the City Engineer having reported the completion of the sewer system in the Walker Addition, Local Improvement District No. 522, by the contractor in the sum of $3,015:31, said work is hereby accepted and-the City Engineer authorized to prepare an assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk instructed to give notice of hearing on said assessment roll for Monday, June 6th, 1935 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent. RESOLUTION NO. C -330, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot.6, Frances Dunning Villa Lots. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property-.-situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 6, Frances Dunning Villa Lots, according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washing- ton, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for de- linquent assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to YAKII4A BOTTLING WORKS, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C0181ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:` That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized-to be sold to YAKIBIiA BOTTLING .WORKS for the total sum of Two Hundred Seventy -five and No /100 ($275.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is hereby authorized to exe- cute a deed to said premises and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima. RESOLUTION NO.,C -331, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct a municipal water system to serve all of the lots and tracts of land included within the following described district: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 6 Block 1 of Johnson's Corner Subdivision; thence Westerly along the North line of Nob Hill Boulevard to the center line of Twentieth Avenue South; thence Northerly along said center line to the center line of Bonnie Doon Avenue; thence Westerly along said center line a distance of 165.55 feet; thence Northerly parallel with. the West line of Twentieth Avenue South to the Southerly right of way line of the Natchez and Cow,yche Ditch; thence Easterly along said right of way line to the center line of Twentieth Avenue South; thence Southerly along said center line to a point due West of the North- west corner of Lot 9, Block 4 of Johnson's Corner Subdivision; thence Easterly and parallel with the North line of Nob Hill Boulevard to the Northeast corner of Lot 11 Block 1 of Johnson's Corner Subdivision; thence Southerly to the point of beginning; said improvement to consist of the completion of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water for domestic use to each lot and tract of land within the proposed district, and to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City'Clerk. All persons who.may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clo.ck A. M., on Monday, the 6th day of June, 1935, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed, improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the'City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice F, k -X 0 May 16, 1938 of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be distributed as follows: Approximately the sum of $6,150.00 to be taken care of by the Works Pro- gress Administration, and the balance thereof to be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor'as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commis- sion at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. ORDINANCE NO. B-306,-entitled "AN in the City of Yakima, Washington, necessary mains, laterals, service lots and tracts of land with water provement district, providing for t] fund ", was introduced by Riley and ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property by acquiring water stock and the completion of the connections and other appurtenances to supply various for irrigation purposes; establishing a local im- ze method of payment therefor and creating a special read by the City Clerk.
