Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, April 18th and adjourned meetings thereof be* approved as read: carried, Riley, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that this being the time for receiving bids for printing the City Ordinances in book form, 'the following were received: Yakima Daily Republic on an estimated basis of 336 pages for 300 volumes $1,713.25; for 400 volumes $1,837.25 and for 1j00 volumes $1,961.25. The bid of the Yakima Bindery and Printing Company for doing said printing was identically the same as the Yakima Republic bid; it.is brdered, therefore, that the awarding of the contract.be made at A later date: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by-Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation $739.84; Street Dept. $1,535.16; L.I.D. Revolving $82.50; Park Dept. $203.25; Cemetery $159.25 and Cemetery Care $252,50:. carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -325, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to serve all the lots, blocks-and parcels of land included within the real estate herein- after described, said improvement to consist of the acquiring of water stock and the completion of the necessary mains, laterals, service connections and other appurten- ances for the purpose of delivering water for irrigation purposes to each lot��and tract of 'land _within the proposed district. That the district to be served by and assessed for the above described improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the "� .intersection of Sixteenth Avenue South with Nob Hill Boulevard; thence westerly along Nob Hill Boulevard to Nineteenth Avenue South; thence northerly along Nineteenth Avenue South to the north line of Johnson's Corner Sub- division, thence easterly along said north.line to Sixteenth Avenue South; thence southerly along Sixteenth Avenue South to the point of beginning; said district to include all lots in Blocks 1, 2 and 3 of Johnson's Corner Subdivision; the above - -irrigation system to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications.to 'be prepared by the City Engineer ana filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may,desire to object to said proposed Improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima., Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 16th day of May, 1935, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters re- lating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining -the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give-due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be distributed as follows: Approximately the sum of Thirteen Hundred and Seventy Dollars (81370.00) to be taken care of by the Works Progress Administration, and the balance thereof to. be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted.
