The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn
and.Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of- Monday,
April 11th, 1935 and adjourned meetings-thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark. voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice-to, contractors, by publication as required by law, for constructing a pavement
on West Yakima Avenue. -fvom Grandview Avenue to-Hillcrest Avenue in,Local Improvement
District. No. 526; said bids to be received-on-Monday, May 2nd,-1939 at-ten o'clock A.

ORDINANCE NO. B -299, entitled, "AN.ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering
Local-Improvement District No. 525, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -260
of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima1°, was introduced by Washburn and read by the
City Clerk.

call.

RESOLUTION NO. 0-324, A RESOLUTION authorizing the improvement of certain streets in
the City of Yakima, Washington.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That the improvement of certain streets in the City of Yakima,
as shown by the accompanying map, by applying road material and crushed gravel, accord -
Ing to the State Department of Highways Standard Specifications, be and the same is
hereby authorized under the provisions of Chapter 157 of the Laws of 1937.
