Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,. February 14th, 1935 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for receiving bids for the city printing for the ensuing year and the bid of the Republic Publishing Company being the lowest and best bid in the sum of 75 cents per column inch per insertion of non parell type, said bid is he accepted and the Mayor and City dlerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Yakima with the Republic Publishing Company for said work: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the hearing on Taxicab Licenses heretofore issued to the Yakima Cab Company to show cause why said licenses should not be revoked Is hereby adjourned to Monday, February 25, 1935 at 10:30 o'clock A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in Local Improvement.District No. 520 for the construction of a domes - tic water system in Blocks 150 and 151, Walker Addition and,there being no protests in writing.or otherwise to said assessment roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof be passed as fin- ally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -2�5, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 520, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -252 of the Ordinances of .the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. ' Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -255 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll. call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -255 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that'Ordinance No. B -255 be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -256, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of Install- ments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 517, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof," was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. , Moved by- -Washburn, seconded by Clarkthat Ordinance No. B -256 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following claims be allowed in the sum of $10,115.80 on the following funds: Current Expense $1,552.17 L;I.Ds 9$62.72; Cemetery Trust $1,514.36; P. R. & P. $1,435.39; L.I.D. Guaranty 44,000.00; L.I D. Rev. $55.62; Irrigation $952.43; Cemetery $150.69; Accident x$30.00; Fixed Estimate 426.42; Also claims on the Water Dept. $3,065.72; Park Dept. $509.66 and City Street $169.42: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -309, A RESOLUTION authorizing the City of Yakima to enter into a contract with Yakima County Water District No. 1, for delivery of water thereto. WHEREAS the Yakima. County Water District No. 1, a municipal corporation has made application to the City of Yakima to receive water from said city subject to all rules and regulations of the water department of said City; and the City and said Water District desiring to enter into a contract and agreement pro- viding for the delivery of such water; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: that the Mayor and Clerk of said City of Yakima be and they are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement hereto attached with.Yak.ima County Water District No. 1 for the delivery of water pursuant to the terms and conditions of said agreement.
