Commission, met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and Clark present on roll call. Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting.of Monday, January 24, 1938 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call., Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for -the hearing on Reso- lution No. C -302 providing for the construction of an irrigation system beginning at the.intersection of 28th Avenue North with West Yakima Avenue and other streets in said City, which meeting was attended by several property owners included in said proposed. improvement district, several of whom objected to said proposition;-it is ordered that the City Engineer check said protests and the hearing adjourned to Thursday, February 3rd, 1938 at 10 o'clock A. M; carried, Riley-, Washburn and Clark voting.aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the payrolls for the month of January, 1938 be allowed. and the. City. Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on -Local Improvement District No. 523 for constructing a sewer system between Cherry Avenue and Roosevelt, et al and there being no protests in writing or otherwise to said assessment or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming said assessment roll and every part.thereof be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, ORDINANCE NO. B -274, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE - confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No..523, as created and established by Ordinance No. B -256. of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk. C -304, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Fractional lots .3 and 4, Block.190, Huson'..s "Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official nlat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington WHEREAS, the City of,Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Fractional lots 3 and 4 °, Block 190, Huson's Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), accord- ing to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to.SAMUEL A. HUNTER and S. ELIZABETH HUNTER, husband and wife, That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to SAMUEL A. HUNTER, and S. ELIZABETH HUNTER, husband and wife, for the total sum of Ninety and 76/100 ($90.76) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the adjourned:-.hear- ing on Resolution No. C -302 providing for the construction of an irrigation system beginning at 28th. Avenue North with West Yakima Avenue and other streets in said City, it is ordered that.the property lying between 28th Avenue North and Grandview Avenue and between West Yakima Avenue and Barge Street be eliminated-from said district sub- ject, however; to the approval of the City Attorney regarding the legality thereof: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
