and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 14th and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple and Clark
and'.Washburn voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that the following claims in the sum of $12,! ?92.11
numbered from 34965 to 35069',.be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue war-
rants as follows: Current Expense $3,537°50; L.I.D. Guaranty $400.00; Delinquent Pro-
perty Sales $435.05; Permanent Highway $428.98; L.I.D. Revolving 274.24; Cemetery
X277.13; Road & Bridge $215.07; P. R. & P. $131.34; Incinerator $1,259.62: Warrants on
the Park Dept. in the sum of $358.23; City Street Fund in the sum of $1,889.43; Water
Dept. in the sum of $5,313.30 and Water Deposit Fund in the sum of $37� „00: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting.aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the City
Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $1,670.14; Permanent High -
way $44.00• Sanitation $606.87; Cemetery $420.00; Cemetery Care $168.00;; Park $412.7
and Water 6574.20: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu-
tion-No. C- 246-for constructing an irrigation system on 30th Avenue and other Streets
in the.City of Yakima and a protest of 36.4 per cent. being presented out of 47.7 per
cent. of the total area; it was ordered.that said improvement be indefinitely postpon-
ed: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -250, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of lots 14 and 15, Bloc:. 136,
"Original Town of North Yakima ", (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof
now on file and. of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County;, Washington.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following describ-
ed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lots 14 and 15 Block 136 "Original Town of
North Yakima" kow Yakimaj, according to the
official plat thereof now on file and of record
in the office of the Auditor.of Yakima County,
Washington,
by reason.of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima, County of
Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for de-
linquent assessments, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest off:” said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to LUTHER STEWART, a single man,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to LUTHER STEWART', a single man, for the total sum of Three Hundred
Fifty and No /100 ($350.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, H. C. Temple, is hereby authorized
to execute a deed to said premises,and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin,. is hereby author-
ized and directed to attest the same for and on behlaf of the said City of Yakima.

ORDINANCE NO. B -198, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE fixing the office hours of certain City
offices, and repealing Ordinance No. A- 343,.entitled: "AN ORDINANCE fixing the time
the offices of the City Officers of the City of Yakima will remain open for the trans-
action of public business ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk,

Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to give
notice to Contractors for furnishing sewer pipe for the construction of Storm Drains
under and pursuant. to Resolution No. C -248; said bids to be received on Monday, July
12th, 1937 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authoriz6d tD issue warrants as follows: Sewage Disposal $294.92; Aermanent
Highway $350.00; L.I.D. Revolving $166.31: carried,.Temple, Washburn and Clark voting
