Moved by Temple, seconded by Clark t?ha t the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue'warrants as follows: Street Dept, $1 497.94; sanitation $562.75; Cemetery $609.00; Parks.$435.52; Permanent Highway $121.50: carried, Temple and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent. Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that the following claims numbered from 34521 to 34963, in the sum of $16,065.24 be Allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $7,310.66; Bond Sihking.$2,057.41 Irrigation $3,7 1:75; Fixed Estimate $235,05; Permanent Highwa $493.60, Cemetery $403. 37; F.,.R, & P. 150.23; Road & Bridge 5.13; Municipal Garage 245.33; Delinquent Pro- perty dales $594,51; L..I.D. Revolving 321.00; Water Deposits $321.00; Parks $177.55 and Water $5,419,03: carried, Temple and Clark wting aye on roll call, Washburn absent. Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that the City Engineer having reported the comple- tion of the construction of an irrigation system in Local Improvement District No. 512, by force account, in the sum of $1,222.11; said work is:hereby accepted and the City Engineer hereby authorized to prepare an assessment roll therefor, and the City Clerk authorized to give notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, June 14th, 1937 at 9 o° clock A. M: carried, Temple and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent. That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to serve all the lots, blocks and parcels of land included within the real estate here- inafter described, said improvement to consist of acquiring the necessary water rights, rights of way easements, and the completion of the necessary mains, laterals, service connections and other appurtenances for the purpose of delivering water for irrigation purposes to each lot and tract of land within the proposed district. That the district to be served by and assessed for the above. de- scribed improvement is described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of 25th Avenue North with Summitview Avenue; thence west along Summitview Avenue to 30th Avenue North; thence south along 30th Avenue North to Barge Street; thence west along Barge Street to a point 100 feet West of West line of 30th Avenue North; thence South parallel with 30th,.Avenue North to a point which is 134 feet north of West. Yakima Avenue; thence west parallel with West Yakima Avenue to Grandview Avenue; thence south along.Grandview Avenue to West Yakima Avenue; thence east along.West Yakima Avenue to 25th Avenue North; thence north along 25th Avenue North to the point of beginning; the above irrigation system to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any., at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, r 11 RESOLUTION NO. C -245, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 5, Block 390, Capitol Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and -of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de- scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 5, Block 390, Capitol.Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas- urer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to W. J. AUMILLER, a married man, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES)LVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA; WASHINGTON: That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to W. J. AUMILLER, a married man, for the total sum of Two Hundred Forty -seven and 97/100 ($247.97) Dollars, and the Mayor, H..C. Temple, is hereby author- ized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin,. is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima. The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro- vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to sub- mit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein-for said heraing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him =submitted. "AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund of the City of Yakima entitled City Street Fund; providing for sources of revenue of said fund and for disbursements therefrom, and repealing Ordinance No. B -104, entitled: AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund of the City of Yakima entitled Secondary Highway Fund, providing for payments to be made thereto and for disbursements to be made therefrom, passed and approved July 22, :1935, and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by Temple and read by the City Clerk.
