The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple and Commissioners Washburn
and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
February 8, 1937 be approved as read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye
on roll call..
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowq.d and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation $622.00; Incinerator
$151.00; Street Dept. $1,713.69; Permanent Highway $93.00; Cemetery $81.60: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call::.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for receiving bids for
the City printing for the ensuing year, and the bid of the Republic Publishing Co. in
the sum of 50¢ per inch per insertion being the only bid presented; it is ordered that
said contract be awarded to the Republic Publishing Co and the Mayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute a °`contract on behalf of said City for said work: carried,
Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -178, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE authorizing the conveyance of Lots 5,.6,
7, 10 and 11, Block. 266, Charlton Addition to North Yakima, now Yakima, 'to the record
owners thereof for the purpose of clearing cloud on title; and declaring an emergency ",
was introduced by Washburn and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -178 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No..B -178 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that Ordinance No. B -178 be passed as finally read:
