The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Temple; and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the, minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
May 27th, 1935 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Temple, Wash -
burn and Clark voting aye on roll calla
Moved by Clark, seconded by Temple that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to advertise
for bids by publication, as required by law, for constructing a sewer on. West "A" Street
at the alley west of 11th Avenue North; thence southeasterly along said Alley- to West -
Yakima Avenue, etc; said bids to be received on Monday, ffune 17th, 1935 at 10 o'clock A.

Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the claim of Margaret Ellen Grantly in the
sum of $72500.00, alleged,to have been sustained by reason of falling on a sidewalk in
front of 1117 Browne Avenue is hereby denied: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark vot-
ing aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION N0: C -1271 A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 4,. "Chareve Park ", ac-
cording to the official plat thereof now on file and of record-in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, to Frank J. Giesler and Dora Giesler, husband and
wife.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following describ-
ed premises situated in Yakima County, Washington, to -wit:
Lot 4, "Chareve Park ", according to the
Official plat thereof now on file and
of record in the office of the Auditor.
of Yakima County;
by reason of a deed-therefor issued by the Treasurer of the City of Yakima to said City
of Yakima, on sale of the said property for delinquent assessments, and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of the City of
Yakima to sell said property to Frank J. Giesler and Dora Giesler, husband and wife.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION O F THE CITY
OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That the above described premises be and they are hereby authoriz-
ed to be sold to Frank 'J. Giesler and Dora Giesler, husband and-wife, for the total 'sum
of Five Hundred and No /100 ($500-.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, Harry- Temple, is hereby
authorized to execute and deliver a deed to said premises and the City Clerk, Pearl
Benjamin, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of, the
City of Yakima.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, SIGNED AND APPROVED, this third
day of June, A. D. 1935.

ORDINANCE NO. B -100, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property
in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a sewer 'establishing a local
improvement district, providing for the method of payment-therefor, and creating a
special fund ", was introduced by Clark and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that Ordinance No. B -100 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only:. carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
