Moved by._Temple, seconded b y Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, February 11th, 1935 be approved a s:>read: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for receiving bids for doing the City printing for the ensuing year, and the bid of.the.Republic Publishing Co. being the only bid received; it is ordered that the Mayor and City Clerk execute a.con- tract on behalf of the City of Yakima with the Republic Publishing Co. for the sum of fifty cents per square insertion, as provided in said bid: carried, Temple, Washburn and-Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by Washburn that the application of Ernest Schneider Jr. for a taxi driver's license be denied: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Temple, seconded by.�Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $$1,068.91; Cemetery $65.00; Water Dept. $567.20: carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll.call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Temple that the following claims numbered from 31472 to 31558 inc., in the sum of $41,965. 49_ be allowed and ,the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Current Expense $$4,268.49; Cemetery Trust $28,322.75; F. R. & P . $6,669.31; L.I.D. Guaranty 11,000.00; Cemetery $71.27; Permanent Highway 8225.34;.Irrigation 1,090.67; R. & B. 6.79; P. R. & P. Fund $18.00; Cemetery Care 4.00; Municipal Garage $188.85; Park Dept. claims numbered from 710 to 713 inc.,$�20.98; Water Deposit Fund $81.00; Water Dept. claims numbered from 6894 to 6947 inc., X13,440.32 carried, Temple, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. _ ORDINANCE NO. B -83, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE creating the A. E. Larson Library Trust Fund, providing for sources of revenue thereof and for disbursements to be made therefrom, and repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith," was introduced by Washburn and read ,by the City Clerk.
