The-.,City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Buck and Commissioners Bishop and
Clark present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 10, 1947, and adjourned meeting
thereof were read and approved:
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that the following claims be allowed and the City
Clerk instructed to issue warrants as follows: C. E. $9,770.54; Street $11,796.61;
Library $655.27; Cemetery $59.49; L.I.D.::$10,070.82; Irrigation $3,374.76; Water
$5,328.54; Gas & Oil $1, 851.55; -F.R-. &P. $47.76; Library Gift $64.21: carried Buck,
Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the report of the City Engineer of the comple-
tion of the paving of the alley in Block Three Heerman's Addition is hereby continued
to Monday, November 24, 1947, at 10 o'clock A.M: carried Buck, Bishop and 'Clark
voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn to meet Tuesday, November 18,
1947, at 10 o'clock A.M: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 1947
RESOLUTION NO. C -762, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 'CITY COMMISSION OF THE °CITY OF YAKIMA, WN:
That it is its intention to improve the lots and tracts of land
included within the following described district by constructing pipe sewers with the
necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tanks and water connections therefor, all of
said improvements -to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications
to be prepared by -the (City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.

The district to be served by and specially benefited by and
assessed for the above described improvement is situate within the 'City of Yakima,
Yakima 'County, Washington, and is bounded as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of West Washington
Street and 27th Avenue South; thence southerly
along 27th Avenue South to the south line of Lot
34 of Shaver Addition; thence westerly along said
south line to the southwest.corner of said lot;
thence northerly along the west line of Lots 34,
33, 32 and 31 of Shaver Addition to Bonnie Doon
Avenue; thence westerly along Bonnie Doon Ave nue
to 28th Avenue South; thence northerly along 28th
Avenue South to West Washington Street; thence east-
erly along West Washington Street to the point of
beginning.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of
the City (Commission to be held at its office in the City of Yakima, Yakima County,
Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the.8th day of December, 1947,
which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said
proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment
for said improvement; and the (City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said
hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto., shall be borne by and assessed again-
st all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and
as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the ,City
{Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and
other information required by law to be by him submitted.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY +COMMISSION this 18th day of November, 1947.
