Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 13th, 1947, be approved as read: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that.claims be allowed and the City Clerk instructed t issue warrants in payment thereof on the following funds: Current Expense $55,534.29; Street Department X1,245.04; Cemetery .'56.60; L.,I. D's $9,827.45; Irrigation $118.12; Water �51 200.45 and Gas & Oil 42, 300.28 Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for receiving bids for Oil, Gas etc., for the fiscal year, and said bids having been received, read b.y the City Clerk and tabulated; it is ordered that said bids be taken under advisement and award the contract at a later date: carried, Buck Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. moved by Buck—seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, January 23rd, 1947 at 10 o'clock A. M: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, THURSDAY, JANUARY 23, 1947, 10 A.M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Buck, and Commissioners Bishop and Clark present on roll call. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that the bid of the Tiedewater Associated Oil Co., for Gas, Oil, Grease, Kerosene, Stove Oil, Diesel, Solvent, etc., being the lowest and best bid received, the contract is hereby awarded to said company and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Yakima for said products for the year 1947: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clarkvoti ng aye on roll call Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn: carried, Buck, Bishop and Clarkvot:Lng aye on roll call.
