Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, April 19th, 1943 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by White, seconded by Mogren that the following claims be allowed, and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $50,132.39; City Street $125.26; Cemetery.$38.50; Water $956.52;Cemetery Trust $15.00; Cumulative Reserve .120,000.00 and Local Improvement Guaranty $500.00: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -555, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE levying an admission tax on persons paying admissions, or who are admitted free or at reduced rates to any place; fixing the amount and, providing for the collection thereof; prescribing penalties; and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by White and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -585 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting eye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -585 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -585 be passed as finally read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded by White that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, April 30th, 1943 at nine o'clock A. M:.. carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
