Moved. by Mogren, seconded by White that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 19th, 1943 be approved as read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Mogren, seconded'by White that Mrs. P. J. MacKintosh be reappointed Trustee of the Public Library, said appointment to be for a five year term: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. - Moved by Mogren, seconded by Clerk authorized to issue'wa: P. R. & P. $67.88: carried, Moved by Mogren; seconded by 27, 1943 at 2 o'clock.P. M: White that the following claims be allowed and the City rrants as follows: C.. B -581, entitled, '"AN ORDINANCE relating to Victory Tax deductions, pro - viding fotr the withholding of the Victory tax from wages or salaries paid employees of the City of Yakima, creating a "Victory Tax Account ", and declaring.an emergency ", was introduced by Mogren and read by the City Clerk. Moved by White, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -581 be passed to its second reading and re ^.d by title only : - carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by White, seconded by'Clark that Ordinance No. B- 581-be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye'on roll call. Moved by White, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -581 be passed as finally read: carried, Mogren, White and Clark voting aye on roll call.
