Moved. by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 15th, 1941 and adjourned meeting thereof-be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn,.seconded by Riley that the payrolls for the month of December, 1941 be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants on the following funds: Various Dept. $3416.4 ;. Health $1273.42; Fire'$6314.16; Police $4731.66; Cemetery X192.57; City-Street $175.00; Librar $762.60; Larson Library $68.90• F. R: & P. $907. 05; P.,R. & P. $196.25; Irrigation $44 9.69; Engineer $870.31; Water X3618.03: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Sanitation $924.19; Crusher $72.00; Cemetery $110.00; Cemetery Care $104.00 and City Street $874.21: carried, Riley, Wash- burn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. 0-533, providing for-an irrigation district on 30th Avenue and other streets in the City of Yakima, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise, to said improvement or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local im- provement district be passed as finally read: carried, Riley; Washburn and Clark vot- ing aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -543, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington by constructing an irrigation system to serve various lots and tracts of'la.nd; establishing a local improvement district; providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -548 be passed to its second reading and read by title only: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -548 be passed to its third reading and read in full: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -548 be passed as finally read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
