and Clark present on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
November 24th and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Wash-
burn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley.that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: City Street $893.23; Crusher $74:
03; Park $176.00; Cemetery $154.50; Cemetery Care $156.00; Sanitation $879.60: carried,
Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give
notice to bidders for the purchase of a pump to deliver 1300 gallons per minute at the
head of 75 feet; said bids to be received on Monday, December 15, 1941 at 10 o'clock
A. M: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye.on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -533, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to
serve all the lots and tracts of land included within the following described district.
Beginning at a point on the east line of Thirtieth
Ave nue,South 120 feet south of the south line
of West Chestnut Street; thence easterly and
parallel with West Chestnut Street to the west
line of Twenty Ninth Avenue South; thence southerly
along said west line to the north line of West
Walnut Street; thence westerly along said north
line to,the east °.line of Thirtieth Avenue South;
thence northerly along said east line to the
point of beginning, said district consisting of
Lots 11 to 19-, inclusive, of Nob Hill Orchard
Heights;
said improvem.ent to consist of the-,installation of,the necessary mains, laterals,
service connections and other appurteriances for the purpose of delivering water for
irrigation purposes to*each lot and tract of land within the proposed district, and to
be constructed in full accordance with the palns and specifications to be prepared by
the City Engineer.
All persons who.may desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting
of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City,Hall in the City of Yakima,
Yakima County , Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A.M., on Monday the 22nd day of
December, 19+1, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters
relating to said proposed improvement, or objections thereto, and for determining the
method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of
said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author -
ized to be sold to E. J. McKanna and Lillian M. McKanna, husband aid wife, for the
total sum of Seven Hundred Fifty and No /100 ($750.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E': B.
Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk,
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and
assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro-
vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer-is hereby directed to sub -
mit to the City Commission;" at or prior to the date fixed herein for said heraing, all
of the data-and other information required by law to be by him submitted.

RESOLUTION NO. C -534, WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following describ-
ed real property'situated'in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lots 6, 7, and 8, Block 2, Pioneer Addition
to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to
the official plat thereof now on file and of
record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima
County,. Washington; and the East 45 feet of
the South 93.7 feet of the North 676.45 feet
of.the West 112 of the Southwest 1/4 of the
Southeast 1/4 of Section 13, Township 13 North,
,Range 18, E.W..M., said tract being a portion
of the abandoned right of way of the Old Union
Ditch lying adjacent of the intersection of Poplar
Street and North Fourth Avenue;
by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treasurer of Yakima County, State of Wash -

ington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, IT APPEARS TO BE FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF SAID CITY OF
YAKIMA to sell said premises to F. J. McKanna and Lillian M. McKanna, husband and wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be and they are hereby author -
ized to be sold to E. J. McKanna and Lillian M. McKanna, husband aid wife, for the
total sum of Seven Hundred Fifty and No /100 ($750.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E': B.
Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk,
