The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark present on rp,;,l,,call.
Move. by Riley,.,seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 15, 1941 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley,
Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
MnvPd by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following payrolls be allowed and the
City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Park Dept. $328.00; Crusher $454.
96; Cemetery $214. 0; Cemetery Care $264.00; Sanitation $501.46; City..Street $740.23;
City Street Mtse. 1275.45 and City Street Projects $1,535.65: carried, Riley, Washburn
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -526, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That it is its intention to improve the property on the west
side of Sixteenth Avenue South from Bonnie Doon Avenue to Nob Hill Boulevard by the
construction of a Portland cement concrete sidewalk five feet in width.
That the district to b e, served by: and assessed for the above
described improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 5,.inclusive, of Allan's Acre
Tracts, Lots 1 to 5, Block 1 of Johnson;'s
Corner Subdivision, and a portion of the
right -of -way of the Yakima Valley Trans-
portation Co.;
the above improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the. City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said - proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the
City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M. on Tuesday,..the 14th day of Octo-
ber, 1941, which time and place are hereby fixed for the.hearing of all matters relating
to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of
payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said
hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall.be borne by and
assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as pro-
vided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit
to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of
the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted..
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION this 22nd day of September, 19441.

RESOLUTION NO C -527,. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That it is its intention to construct a pipe sewer with the
necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tank and water connections therefor.
That the district to be served by and assessed for the above
described improvement is described as follows, to -wit:
Lots 4 to 19,. inclusive, of Hamberg Addition;
the above improvement to be constructed in full.accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations to be prepared by the City Engineer.and.filed.with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to objectito said proposed improvement
are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the
City.Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima
County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M. on Tuesday, the 14th day bf October
1941, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to
