on roll call, Commissioner Washburn absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
September 8th, 1941 be approved as read: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll
call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No. 0-522, and there being no objections in writing.or otherwise to said improvement,
or any part thereof,it is - ordered that the'ordinance creating a Local Improvement Dis-
trict be passed -asfinally read: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye -on roll call,
Washburn absent.
ORDINANCE NO. B -529, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property
in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a domestic water system;
establishing a local improvement district;, providing for the method of payment there-
for;, and creating a special fund ", was introduced by.Riley.and read by the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley_ that Ordinance No. B -529 be passed to its second
reading.and read by. title only: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call,
Washburn absent.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that Ordinance No. B -529 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried,. Riley, and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn
absent.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that Ordinance No. B -529 be passed as finally read:
carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call, Washburn absent.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu-

ORDINANCE NO. B -530, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property
in the City of Yakima, Washington, by constructing the necessary mains, fire hydrants,
valves and other appurtenances to supply various lots and tracts of land with water
for domestic use; establishing a local improvement district, providing for the method
of payment therefor, and creating .a special fund," was introduced by Clark and read
by the City Clerk.

reading and.read by title only: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call,
Washburn absent..
Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -530 be passed to its third
reading and read in full: carried, Riley, and•Clark voting,aye on roll call, Washburn
absent.

Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, September

The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Riley_and Commissioner Clark

Moved by Riley, seconded by Clark that the following, claims be allowed and the City
Clerk instructed to issue warrants as follows: Current Expense $2115.21• City street
16,836.14; Library $110.69• Parks $428.95; Cemetery 14.51; Irrigation 124.46; Water
3,203.22; Cemetery Trust 47,9J2.36; L.I.D. Guaranty 2,300.00; Crusher .11,269.96; F.
R. & P. $78.10 and P. R. & P. 9.02: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call,
Washburn absent. ,
ORDINANCE NO. B -531, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE creating a municipal defense council, pre-
scribing its duties and declaring an emergency ", was introduced by.Riley and read by
the City Clerk.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that Ordinance No. B -531 be passed to its second
reading and read by title only: carried, Riley and Clark voting aye on roll call,
Washburn absent.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Riley that Ordinance No. B -531 be passed to its third read-
