Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon- day,, August 17�, 1941 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn voting aye:on,,roll call, Clark absent. Moved by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the following claims be allowed and the City Clerk authorizled'to- issue warrants on the following claims: Current Expense $637.17; City Street 992.31; Park $28-.49; Cemetery $22.35; Irrigation $1.81; Water $407.16; Crusher $102. 1 and P. R. & P. $106.50: carried, Riley and Washburn voting aye on roll call, Clark absent. Moved. by Washburn, seconded by Riley that the payroll on the Water Dept.,be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants in the sum of'$577.80: carried, Riley and Washburn voti -ng aye on roll call, Clark absent. RESOLUTION NO. C =522, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intenction to construct-'a -domestic water system to serve the property lying within the-following described district: The South half of the Southwest Quarter of the - Northwest Quarter of Section 25, Township 13 North, Range 19 E.W'.M.; said improv=,er nt to consist of the installation-of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and appurtenances for the purpose of supplying water.for domestic use, and to be constructed in full accordnace with the plans and specifications to be pre- pared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve -, ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall, in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of ten o'clock A. M., on Monday, the 15th day of September,. 1941, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters related to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment therefor; and the City Clerk is hereby.directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The labor for this project shall be furnished by the Works Pro- jects Administration, and the balance of the cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly,assessable therefor, as provided by law, and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to sulmit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. C -523, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON: That it is its intention to construct a domestic water system to serve all the ots and tracts of land included within the following described district: Beginning at a point on the south line of Pacific Avenue 140 feet east of the east line of South Third Street;. thence westerly along said south line of Pacific Avenue to a point 154.35, feet west of the west line of South Second Street; thence south 24018' east a distance of"532.5 feet;-thence southeasterly on a line midway.between South Third Street and South First Street to'the north line of East Washington Street; thence easterly, along said north line to a point 140 feet east of the east line of South Third. Street; thence northerly and parallel with South Third Street to the point of beginning; said improvement to consist of the installation of the necessary mains, fire hydrants, valves and other appurtenances for the purpose.of supplying water for domestic use, and to be constructed in full accordance with the'plans and specifications to be pre- pared by the C}ty Engineer and,filed with the City Clerk.
