Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 31, 1941 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved_ by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the City Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: City Street Dept. $971.89; Crusher $956.42; Cemetery $132.00; Cemetery Care $411.25; Park $360.13; Sanitation 1$772.57: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call. Tflove6. by Clark, seconded by Washburn that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -497 providing for a dual system of domestic and irrigation water on Cornell and Stewart Streets and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said pro- posed improvement, or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance creating a Local Improvement District be passed as finally read: carried,-Riley, Washburn.and Clark-voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -501, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a dual irrigation and domestic water system; establishing a local improvement district; providing for the method of payment therefor; and creating a special fund ", was introduced by Riley and read by the City Clerk. C -499, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 1, Block 16, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima). WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the oumer of the following describ- ed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit: Lot 1, Block 16,, Tennant & Miles' Modern Addi'tion to North Yakima (now Yakima), according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas- urer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of Yakima to sell said premises to GEORGE A. LUISI and REBA LUISI, husband and wife, That said above described premises be and they are hereby author- ized to be sold to GEORGE A. LUISI and REBA LUISI, husband and wfie, for the total sum of Two Hundred Fifteen and No /100 ($215.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima.
