The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Riley and Commissioners Washburn and
Clark -oresent on roll call.
Moved by Riley, seconded by Washburn that the minutes of the regular meeting of Mon-
day, February 3, 1941 and adjourned meetings thereof be approved as read: carried,
Riley, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the following payrolls be allowed and the
Cityy Clerk authorized to issue warrants as follows: Street Dept. $1155.87; Sanitation
$744.13; Cemetery $$111.00 and Crusher x$279.38: carried, Riley, Washburn and Clark vot-
ing aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO. C -495, A RESOLUTION authorizing the sale of Lot 7, Block 35, Tennant &
Miles' New Modern Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima).
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot 7, Block 35, Tennant & Miles' New Modern
Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima),
according to the official plat thereof not.,; on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed therefor issued by the Treas-
urer of the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, State of Washington, to said City of
Yakima, on sale of said property for delinquent assessments, and
WHEREAS, it a-oDears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to JOE~FiARPENAU, an unmarried man,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premises be,and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to JOE HARPENAU, an unmarried man, for the total sum of Eighty -two and
97/100 Dollars (82.97), and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is hereby authorized to execute a
deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benjamin, is hereby authorized and
directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said City of Yakima.

Addition to North Yakima (now Yakima).
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima is the owner of the following de-
scribed real property situated in Yakima County, State of Washington, to -wit:
Lot 9, Block 34, Tennant & Miles' New Modern Addition
to North Yakima (now Yakima),
according to the official plat thereof now on file and of record in the office of the
Auditor of Yakima County, Washington, by reason of a deed issued therefor by the Treas-
urer of Yakima County, Washington, to said City of Yakima, on sale of said property for
delinquent taxes, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be for the best interest of said City of
Yakima to sell said premises to V. L. HENLE and JUNE K. HENLE, husband and wife,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF YAKIMA, WASHINGTON:
That said above described premise.s be and they are hereby author-
ized to be sold to V. L. HENLE and JUNE K. HENLE, husband and wife, for the total sum
of One Hundred Seventy and No /100 ($170.00) Dollars, and the Mayor, E. B. Riley, is
hereby authorized to execute a deed to said premises, and the City Clerk, Pearl Benja-
min, is hereby authorized and directed to attest the same for and on behalf of the said
City of Yakima.
