Moved by Washburn, seconded by Clark that the minutes of the regular meeting of Wednes- day, January 29th, 1941 and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, Riley absent. RESOLUTION NO. C -494, WHEREAS, by ordinance it is provided that on the first Monday in February of each year, the City Commission of the City of Yakima, Washington, shall pass a resolution prescribing the from of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City of 'Yakima, that the form of contract for the city advertising for the ensuing year shall be in substantially the form hereto attached and made a part hereof, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice for sealed proposals for a contract for doing the city advertising for the ensuing year by publishing the same in the newspaper doing the city advertising, for two successive issues, which notice shall contain a general statement of the terms of the contract to be let, together with the time and place when said bids will be opened, and providing that any and all bids may be rejected. This being the time for receiving bids for reinforcing steel bars for the Mac - laren Reservoir and Mayor Riley and Commissioner Washburn being absent; Commissioner Clark ordered said bids opened, read and tabled until Thursday, February 6th, 1941 at ten o'clock A. M. G�i t y t e r k. ADJOURNED MEETING, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 1941, 10 A. M. The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Commissioners Washburn and Clark pre- sent on roll call, Mayor Riley absent. Moved by Clark, seconded by Washburn that the following bids were heretofore opened and tabled for reinforcing steel bars for the Maclaren Reservoir: Yakima Hardware Company Fosseen's, Inc. $1,641.00 1,701.00 The bid of the Yakima Hardware Company in the sum of $1,641.00 be- ing the lowest and best bid, said award was made to said company: carried, Washburn and Clark voting aye on roll call, Riley, absent.
