The City Commission met in regular session, .Mayor Dud.ley and Commissioner Hedges voting aye
on roll call, Coonse absent.
Moved by Dudley, seconded by Hedges, that t':ie minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday,
Play 31st,1927; and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read ;carried,Dudley and Hedges
voting aye on roll call, Coonse absent.
ORDINANCE'NO.A -1044, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the improvement of certain
streets in the City of Yakima,19ashington, by grading and paving the same, establishing a
Local Irrprovernent District, providing the method of payment therefor, and creating a special
fund", was • introduced- by,-Hedges and. read. by the City Clerk.

Improvement District No.440; said bids to be received on ,Monday „June 24th,1927, at 10

RESOLUTION NO.B -1033, •V4I3Z 'AS, ti .e City of Yakima gave notice as provided by law that it
offered for sale the. following described bond., to -wit:
Its general, negotiable, interest - bearing coupon bonds for the principal sum of
$150,000, to bear date July 1,1927, and maturing serially in from two to thirty years,. pay-
able in twenty-nine equal annual installments (including principal and interest) as near as
may be, Commencing with the second year after the date of said bonds, said bonds drawing
interest at a rate not exceeding five (5 %) per -cent per.annum, payable semi - annually;
AND WI'REAS, said Notice provided that sealed bids would be received by the City of
Yakima at the office of the City Clerk in the City Hall in' said City of Yakima,Washington,
up to 10 o'clock A.M. on the 6th day of June,1927, for the purchase of said issue of bonds.

par value thereof at the rate of $100.05, together with accrued interest to date of delivery
