The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioner Hedges voting aye
on roll call, Commissioner Coonse absent.
Moved by Dudley,second.ed. by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular session of Monday, May
16th,1927, be approved as read.; carri ed,Dudley and Hedges voting aye on roll-call., Coonse

Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that this being the time for'the hearing on Resolution
No.B -1022, to improve- Cornell Avenue from Division Street to Peach Street by grading and
gravelling same, arid. there being no objection in writing-,;or otherwise to said improvement
or any part thereof; it is ordered t-lat the. ordinance creating a local.improverrie:nt district
be laid on the table for one week;carried,Duu ley and Hedges voting aye on_ roll call, Coonse
absent.
Moved by Hedges, seconded. by Dudley, that this being the time for receiving. bids for im-
proving Folsom Avenue in Local Improvement District No.433, by constructing.a sewer, and
the bids of Ididstate Contract Company and. 71 -J. Longston, being the only bids received and
both bids being about 25% higher than the Enginee -r's estimate; it is ordered that a written
notice be sent by the City to each of the prgperty pwners in said city t o. app ear. on Thursda
May 26th,1927, at 9 o'clock A.M. and. state their voices relative to proceeding with said
work or the abandonment thereof;carried,Duuley and Hed es' votir_gaye on roll call, Coonse
absent..
ORDINANCE NO.A- 1042, entitled: "An Ordinance. providing for the borrowing of money by the Cit
of Yakima and issuing its negotiable ,.,%erial, interest, -bearing coupon bonds- therefor, for the
payment of a new addition to the Cit4 Hall of the City of Yakima,prescribing the form. of
bonds' and interest", was introduced by Dudley and .read. by the City .Clerk . .
