The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and
Coonse voting aye on roll call.
Moved. by Dudley,seconded. by Hedges, that the regular meeting of March 28th,1927, and.
adjourned. meeting thereof be approved as read;carried, Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye
on roll call..
Moved. by Coonce, seconded by Dudley, that this being the time for the adjourned hearing on
Resolution No.B -1013 to construct a sidewalk on South Second. Street from Race Street to
Pacific Avenue, and there being insufficient protest e,gainst said. improvement, the ord.inanc
creating a Local,Improvement District is ordered passed;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse
voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A.1030,entitled.: "An Ordinance providing for the construction_ of a Portland
cement concrete sidewalk upon a certainnstreet in the City of Yakima, establishing a Local
Improvement District, providing a method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund"
was introduced by Coonse, and. read. by the Cit.y Clerk.

District for grading and. gravelling Twenty second and. Twenty third Avenue North from 71.st
Yakima Avenue to Suramitview Avenue and Barge S�reet &., Eleanor Street from Twenty Second
Avenue North to Twenty Fourth Avenue North be passed as finally read;carried, Dudley,
Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.A -1031, entitled: "An Ordinance providing f or the improvement of certain
streets in the City of Yakima,Vfashington, by grading and gravelling the same, establishing
a local improvement district, providing the method of payment therefor, and creating a
special fund ",was introduced by Coonse, and read by the City Clerk.

Twenty Fourth Avenue North by grading and graveling; bids to be received on the 18th.day
of April,1927, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and Coonse voting aye on roll call.
RESOLUTION NO.B- 1018,BE', IT RESOL'V'ED BY THE CITY COM14ISSION OF THE CITY OF. Y.A.KIMA,WASHINGTON;
That it is its intention to construct a vitrified clay pipe.sewer to serve
all that portion of the city bounded. on the east by Nineteenth Avenue South, on the south
by Division Street, on the west by Twentieth Avenue South, and on the north by West Chest-
nut Street, said sewer to ccommence at the west end of the sewer heretofore constructed
upon Division Street at the alley east of Nineteenth Avenue South, and. to extend thence
westward along Division Street to Twentieth Avenue South, thence northerly alonj Twentieth
Avenue South to West Chestnut Street; said sewer to be 8 inches in inside diameter and to•
be prcv?.ded with 7 brick manholes and 42 wye branches, and the doing of such other work as
may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with the. plans and specificatiol
therefor prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement-are here
notified to appear and. present such objections at a meeting of the City c:Commi ssion to be
held at its offices in the City Office Building in the City of Yakima,Washington, at the
hour of 9 o'clock A.M. on ,, onday, the 25th day of April,1927, which time and. place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improv e me:at, all
objections thereto, ard.for determining the method of payment therefor, and. the City Clerk
is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and. of the intention to make the
aforesaid. improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement shall be borne by and. assessed
against all of the property legally and. properly assessable therefor as provided. by law, an
the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the
date fixed herein for said hearing all of the data and other infoinma.tion required by law to
be submitted by him.
ADOPTED by the City Commission this 4th day of April,1927.
