Moved by Dudley,seconded by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 6th,1926, an,. adjourned, meeting thereof be approved as- read; carried, Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting .aye on roll call,. Moved. by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being the ti-_e for receiving bids for complet: the General Municipal "later System and all bids received being op.ened and read, it is ordered that the-City Engineer be given a week to check and compile said bids, and.we therefore move that said bids be reported on Monday, December 20th,1926, at 10 o'clock A.M. carried,Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll.call. ORDINANCE NO.A- 1021,entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the taking and damaging of land, said land to be used as a right of way for a pipe line of _the Municipal Water- System of the City of Yakima,117asbington, authorizing the institution of condemnation proceeding, provid- ing for the payment of compensation,.damages and costs and declaring an emergency; was introduced.by Dudley and read by the City Clerk. Moved by Traub, seconded by Dudley,'that Ordinance No.A -1021 be passed to its second read- ing and read by title only;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call. Moved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that `..this being the time for the hearing .on the assessment roll in Local Improvement District No.421, for paving North Sixth Street from Yaki:ia Avenue to "D" Street and East "A" Street from Naches Avenue to North Sixth Street and it appearing that no tax payers have presented protests in writing or otherwise. to the assessment -roll or any part thereof; it is ordered that the ordinance confirming the assessment roll and. every part therefor be passed as finally read;carried,Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye*on roll call. ORDINANCE NO.A- 1022,entitied: "An Ordinance confirming the Assessment Roll covering Local Improvement District No-421, as established by Ordinance No-A-982 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima" was introduced by Dudley and read. by the City Clerk.
