Moved by Dud.ley,second.ed by Traub, that the minutes of the regular meeting -of Illonday,July 19th,1926, be approved. as read.; carried,Dudley, 'and Traub- voting.. aye. on ' roll call. ;Moved by Dud.ley,seconded. by Traub, that this being the time and place for receiving bids for building an addition to the present City Hall; the following bids were received; Ross-and. Mathews, - 9664.00; C.K.Wiley, $p10,449.00; Ardinger & Miller, $9151.00; and L.C. Rainery, $97.04; the bid of. Ross and Mathews in the sum of $9664,.00 was accepted. for the reason that said. bid was accompanied. by a certified. check for 5% of the amount of the bid. as required by law, and. the other bids were submitted without checks;carried,Dud.ley and Traub voting aye on roll call; Hedges absent. First -Avenue South. ) At a regular session of the City Commission of the City of Yakima,State of Washington, held. at the public meeting room of said commission in the City Hall at said Yakima 9n the 26th day of July,1926, a quorum being present, there was duly and. regularly presented. the petition of Oregon- Washington Railroad & Navigation Company, a corpoation, for the vacation of a portion of s4lest Chestnut Street in the. City of Yakima,Washington,more specifically described as follows, t-o -wit : All that part of West Chestnut Street between Blocks 211 and 212 of the original, Townsite 'of North Yakima, now Yakima, Yakima County,`Jashington and between the westerly line of First Avenue South and the easterly line of Second. Avenue. South. And it appearing that said petition has been signed by the owner:of more than. taro- thirds of the private property abutting upon the portion of said`llest Chestnut Street sought to be vacated. BE' IT THFPFFORF RESOU..HD that said. petition be and the same hereby; is set for hearing at City Hall in Yakima ,Washington, on the 16th day of August,1926, at the hour of ten A.M. and.
