Moved by Dud.ley;seconded. by Hedges, that the minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
June 8th,1925, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved. as read; carried, Dudley,Hedges
and Traub voting aye on roll call.

construction of a cement sidewalk on South Second. Street from Race Street to Maple Street
in 'Local Improvement District No. 405, and the bid. of-A.S. 'Wilson in the sum of_ $1044.00
being the lowest and best bid, said contract is hereby awarded. to him and. the Mayor and
City Clerk authorized-to enter into a contract therefor upon.the filing of,a proper bond;

may be necessary in connection therewith, all in ac- cordance with the plans and specification

notified to appear and.present such objections at a meeting of-the City Commission to be
held at its offices in the City Office .Building in the QLt.y of Yakima, Washington, at the
hour of 9 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 6th day of Juiy,1925, w -hich time and place are hereby
fixed for the hearing of all matters rel&t:ing to said proposed improvement, -all objections
thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, and the City Clerk is hereby

That it is its intention- to improve the west side of Eighteenth Avenue North
from Summit View Avenue_ to Flnora Street, all in the City of Yakima,��ashingt6n, by the
construction of a Portland cement concrete sidewalk five feet in width, and by doing.
all such other work as maybe necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with
the plans and specifications therefor; prepared -by the City , Engineer and filed with the
City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said. proposed improverient are hereby
notified. to appear -and present such objections. at a meeting of the City Commission to be
held. At its offices in the City Office Building in the City of YakimalWashington, at the
hour_ of 9 o'clock A.M. on Monday, the 6th day of July,1925, which time and. place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improvement, all

order the improvement -of-,C Street and West C Street from the west line of North First
Street to -a line 2-5- feet --west 'of the. east . line of Sixth Avenue- North, . exce.pting the
portion of said .street. heretofore improved by the Northern P acif is Railway Company from
a line 3 feet east of said.railway company's most easterly track to -a line 2 feet west
of said railway company.'s most.weste�rly txack, anti. also excepting those portions of said
street. -lying between the ra.il.s of the tracks of th,e Oregon Washington Railroad, and Navigat
ion Company and to a distande of-2 feet =- pa.ch. side. of each of said tracks -, all in the

to create an-enlarged district to pay the whole amount of the costs and expense of such
improvement,.as shall be chargeable against the property within the district. The
boundaries of such.enlarged district are hereby specified and described as follows:

of the property within such enlarged district lying between the termini of the proposed
improvement and, extending back from the marginal lines .thereof to the middle of the
block on each side thereof, and in case of unplatted property. extending back to the same
distance -as that included in the assessment.of platted. lards immediately adjacent thereto,
in the mode prescribed by Section 13 of Chapter 98 of the .Session Laws of the State of
Washington, for the year 1911, which said assessment is specified and fixed. innthe sum. of
Nineteen Thousand Four Hundred. Fifty -seven and. 51/100( $19,x-57.51) Dollars, and that such
portion of the remainder of such cost and expense as may not be borne by any general fund.
shall be distributed and. assessed. against all of. the property included, in the remainder of
such enlarged district in accordance with special benefits.
