March 23rd,1925.
The City Cornniszion met in regular session, Mayor Dudley and Commissioners Hedges and Traub
voting aye on roll call.
IAoved by Dudley, seconded by Traub, that the .minutes of the regular meeting of Monday,
March 16th,1925, be approved as read; carried, Dudley, Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll
call.
ORDINANCE N0. A -893, entitled: "An Ordinance relating to and establishing a City Zoning
Commission and defining its powers and duties ", :;vas introduced by Dudley and. read by the
City Clerk.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No.A -893 be passed to. its.second reading
and read by title only; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub votingaye on roll call.
Moved by Traub, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No.A -393 be passed to it-m third reading
and read. in full.; carried, Dudley,Hedges any Traub voting aye :on rmll call.

Uoved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being the tir;ie and place fo.r the hearing on
Resolution No.B -870, for`the construction of concrete curbs on South Naches Avenue-from
Race. Street to Adams Avenue and no objections being presented-,in writing or otherwise; it
is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement be laid on the table for one
dveek; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub -voting aye on roll call.

No.B -871, for paving the east half of the roadvray on Twenty. Eighth Avenue, from West Yakima
Avenue to ''rest Chestnut Street; and no objections being presented in writing or otherwise,
it is ordered that the ordinance creating a local improvement district be laid on the
table, for one week; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting a;, °e on roll call.

That it is the intention of the City Commission to improve the following
described property in said City,to -wit: Lots One (1) to Twelve (12), both inclusive, in
Homewood Addia:io.n_ in the city of Ya„kima,`^1ashington, by the construction of .a vitrified clay
pipe server eight (8)-inches in inside diameter, said. sewer to begin at the end: of the
sewer heretofore constructed in Block One (1) in Laurelhurst Addition to said City of
Yakima.,'5ashington, and to extend thence westward- 34Q feet, which. said sewer is to be pro-
vided with one flush tank, and by doing all such other work as may be necessary in connect-
ion therewith; all in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared
by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk....
All persons who may. desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereb;;;
notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting. of°.thc City ,Commission to be
held at its offices in .the_ City Office Building in the City of Yakima, 11ashington, at the
hour of .9 o'clock A.M.., on Monday the 13th day of April,1925, which time and place are
hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relating to said proposed improver_ient, all
objections - thereto and for determining the method of payment therefor, a.ndthe City Clerk
is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and the intention to make the afore-
said improvement. The cost and expense.of,sai.d..impr.ovement shall be borne by and assessed:
against all. of the property legally and. properly assessible therefor, as.. provided bz- law,
and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Conmission at or prior to
the time fixed herein for said hearing, all of th-,e data and other information required by
law to be submitted by him..
