Eoved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that the completion of the contract for the construction
of pipe lines etc., in Local Improvement District No. 382, in the sum'of $695.59, by the
contractor, F.A. Jenne, is hereby accepted and the City Engineer authorized to prepare an
assessment roll for said district and the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give.notice
by publication aa3 required by lacy for the hearing on said roll for Monday;16'ay 26th,1924,
at 9 o'clock A.M..carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Iuoved by Traub, seconded by Hedges, that this being, the time and place for receiving bids
for the construction of a sewer on South Ninth Street et al, in Local Improvement District
No: "385; " and• the' bid' of Cbl-occio & Erickson in the sum of $5186. being the . lo�rvest and
best bid, said contract is hereby awarded to said firm and the Mayor and City Clerk
authorized to enter into a contract therefor; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye
on roll call, .... .

ORDINANCE NO-A-840, entitled: "An Ordinance providing for the borrowing of money by the City
of Yakima and issuing its negotiabae bonds therefor „for the purchase of fire apparatus and
a site for a fire station by said City, prescribing the form of bonds and creating a sink-
ing fund'to. redeem said bonds and interest ", was introduced- by Dudley, and read by the City
Clerk.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No.A -840 be passed-to its -second readin
and read by title only; carried, Dudley,Hedges and Traub voting aye. on. roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by Dudley, that Ordinance No.A -840 be passed -to its third reading
and read in full; carried, Dudley,Nedges and Traub voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Hedges, seconded by'Dudley, that Ordinance No.A -840 be passed as finally read;
