The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 14, 1955 and adjoi,j.rned meeti;mg there of, were approved, as read. This being the time for receiving bids for the sale of four -houses situated at the Yakim Municipal Airport, and all bids received having been read by the City Clerk, it was MOVED by Huza, seconded-by Huey that said bids be taken under advisement and awards made at a later date: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. This being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll providing for the construction of an irrigation district on 23rd Avenue South, L. I. D. No. 793, and there being no objections in writing, or otherwise, to said assessment roll, or any part thereof it wa,, MOVED by Huey, seconded by Huza that Ordinance No. B-1672, confirming said assessment roll, and every part thereof, be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B-16721 AN ORDINANCE confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 793 as created and established by Ordinance No. B-1615 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. B-1673, providing for the expenditure of -funds not budgeted for the Sanitation Department in the sum of '$5500.00, which was in- troduced on Monday, March 14th, 1955 and read in full by the City Clerk, and laid on the table for one week, be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B-16731 AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not budgeted for the Sanitation Department , and declaring an emergency. tD Moved by Huza, seconded by Burns that Resolution No. B-1227, authorizing the sale of a portion of Tract "Ell, Boulevard Addition, to Champ Sanford, in the sum of $1,000.00 and directing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a deed to said property for and, on behalf of said City of Yi;ikima, be adopted as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C-1227, WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns the real estate hereinafter describ6d and has no use or need therefor and it is for the best interests of said city that the said, property be sold; and the highest bid received therefor is the sum of S hi_; hest bid. by Champ B. Sanford and, Olive' Sanford; and it is for the best interests of the City of Yakima that said bid be accepted and that said property be sold for said price; now, -therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COIT11AISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the City of Yakima does hereby accept the bid of Champ B. C-1228, BE IT RESOL1,TED BY THE CITY COT-A21,4ISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the Mayor and- City Clerk are hereby authorize d to execute on behalf of said City that certain agreement dated the 21st day of March, 1955, between the City of Yakima and Stevens & Thompson, a partnership firm of consulting engineers, CD CD for engineering services in performing the necessary field surveys and making of an en- gineering study to determine the most feasible and economical solution to the collection and. disposal of the industrial wastes from the said City for the consideration and under the terms and conditions as therein more fully provided; a copy of said agreement being attached hereto. C-12311 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF' YAKIMA: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of said City that certain pipeline crossing agreement dated the 23rd day of March, 1955, between the Oregon- Washington Railroad & Navigation Company, a corporation of the CID C-1 State of Oregon, and its Lessee, Union Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation of the State of Utah, and said City of Yakima for easement as therein more fullyprovided, a copy of said agreement being attached hereto.
