The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, February 7th-, 1955, were approved as read. C, - This beinm the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C-1199,., providing for the construe- CD CJ Lion of a sewer system on Crescent Drive and other property more particularly described in said resolution, and there being no objections in writing, to said improvement or any 1'� part thereof; it was MOVED by Huey seconded by Huza that Ordinance No. B-1658, creating L.I.D. No. 798, be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call,. ORDINANCE NO. B'-1658, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of certain property by constructing a pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches, manholes and flush tanks; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. This being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C-1200, providing for the construc- tion of an irrigation system on Lots 1 to 16 of the Rice-Dibbert'Addition, and there be- ing no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof; it waE MOVED by Huey, seconded by Burns that Ordinance No. B-1659, creating L.I.D. No. 799, be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B-1659, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the Cit] of Yakima, 'Kashington, by constructing an irrigation system to serve various lots and tracts of land; establishing a Local Improvement District; providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. This being the time for final action on Resolution No. C-1173, passed and approved on November 9th 1954, by the City Commission, relative to the acquisition of Gilbert Park in the Uplands Addition and it appearing that numerous hearings have taken place by the property owners residing in the vicinity of said property i,;ithout a decision having been reached in favor of or against said project and a petition of remonstrance having been filed with the City Engineer by property owners in said district constituting 34-10 pro- test against said acquisition and ' improvement of said property by the formation of a Local Improvement District and construction of a park by the Metropolitan District; it was MOVED by Huey, seconded by Huza that Ordinance No. B-1660 providing for the creation of L.I.-D. No. 800 be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDI14ANCE NO. B-1660, AN ORDINANCE providing for the formation of an enlarged local improvement district for the improvement of Gilbert Park located in "The Uplands" by grading, seeding, setting out trees and shrubs, installing an irrigation system and g constructing g a parkin area, establishing a Local Improvement District; providing for the L�l method of payment therefor, and creati.n..- a special fund. This being the time for the hearing on the annexation petition covering a portion of lane on South 35th Avenue, more particularly described in said petition, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said annexation or any part thereof; it was MOVED by Huey, seconded by :5 Burns that Ordinance No. B-1661, annexing said property to the City of Yakima be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B-1662, AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not budgeted for the water department, and declarint-, an emergency. Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice to bidders by publication as required by law for the construction of a sewer system on Crescent Hill Drive, in L.I.D.
