The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, June 7th, 1954. were approved as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call_. Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza, this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -1124, providing for the construction of a sewer system on Lots 1 to 16, Blk. 2, Shanno Homes Addition, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any pert thereof; it is ordered that Ordinance No. B- 1564, creating Local Improvement District No. 771, be passed as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll ca 1. ORDINANCE NO. B- 1564, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of certain property by constructing a pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches, manholes, flush tank and wate connection therefor; establishing a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza, this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -1125, providing for the construction of a domestic water system on Lots 1 to 16, Hillacre Additi.on, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise, to said impro,e ment, or any part thereof; it is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1565, creating Local Im- provement District No. 772, be passed as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting; aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1565, AN ORDINANCE providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, T,iashington, by the construction of a domestic water system, establishing a local improvement district, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a CD special fund. Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. B -1566, establishing a longevity pay plan for employees of the Yakima Police Department be passed as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1566, AN ORDINANCE establishing a longevity pay plan for employees of the Police Department of the City of Yakima, and prescribing the amounts and conditions for payment thereof to such employees. Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey. that Ordinance No. B -1567, fixing the time of delin- quency and prescribing the form of bonds in L.I.D. No. 765, be mssed as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1567, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 765, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. B -156$, fixing the timeof delinquency and prescribing the form of bonds in L.I.D. No. 766, be passed as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDIN, "� 3CE NO. B -15687 AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 766, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. B -1569, fixing the time of delinquenc7 and prescribing the form of bonds in L. I. D. No. 768, be passed as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1569, AN ORDINANCE fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 768, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huza that Resolution No. C- 1132, providing for the closing of the Municipal. Court on Saturdays during; June, July and August 1954, be adopted as read, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on :roll call. ,ESOLTJTION NO. C -1132, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the Municipal Court (or City Police Court) of the City of Yakima shall be closed on Saturdays during the months of June, July and August, 1954. BURNS Mayor Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice to contractors by publication as required by law, for the construction of a sewer system in Lotsl to 16, Block 2, Shannon Homes Addition, in L.I.D. No. 771; said bids to be re- ceived on Monday, June 28th, 1954, at 10 o'clock A.M., carried: Burns, Huza and Huey votii�,u aye on recall. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey', that verbal permission be given to prospective parties contemplating the purchase of the Raymond home at the corner of Grandview Ave., and 32nd Avenue to conduct an Art, Music and Dancing School, and the City Attorney ishereby in- structed to prepare a resolution to that effect to be adopted at alater date, carried: Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call.
