The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 27, 1950, and adjourned meeting thereof were approved as read. Moved by. Huey, seconded by .Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on the assessment roll in L.I.D. No. 688, and there being no objections in writing or other- wise to said assessment roll, or any part thereof: It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1203, confirming said assessment roll and every part thereof, be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll.call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1203, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement District No. 688 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1111 of the Ordinances of the City of Yakima. .Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for receiving bids for the construction of the Mead Avenue -Union Gap Trunk Sewer, the following were received: State Construction Co. $63,679.45;- Valley Construction Co. ~118,054.50; Mathew Mc- Carthy $138,582.00; Thorburn & Logozo $72,488.52; Shoreline Construction Co. $30,559.82 R. L. Moss & 'Co. $110,548.70; J..M. DeBlasio $79,378.45; G. G. Teskey $,73,704.39; Joe Brandt & N. L. Kimball $82.,683.97; Engineer's Estimate' 4 61, 675.90. The bid of State Construction Go. in the sum of $63,679.45' was accepted as the lowest and best bid, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to execute a contract on behalf of the City of Yakima for doing said work upon filing of the proper bond: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ( Continued) 1 1 1 1 1 December 4, 1950 (Continued from Page No. 208) RESOLUTION N0: '0-944, WHEREAS, THE !CITY OF YAKIMA is the owner of certain premises commonly known as the Yakima Municipal Airport; and WHEREAS, BRUCE A. ACOOMBS, d.b '.a_. WEST AIR CO., has heretofore occupied a certain portion of said airport premises for the purpose of carrying on the business of 'a fixed base operator thereon; and said BRUCE A 'COOMBS, d.b.a. WEST" AIR !CO. desires to enter into a lease of s aid premises for a period of t en ( 10) years •with an option to renew for an additional ten (10) years; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE C I TY OF YAKIMA : That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Yakima, a lease of a-certain portion of the Yakima Municipal Airport premises; the description thereof being more specificially set out insaid lease, to BRUCE A COOMBS d.b.a. WEST AIR CO..* as lessee; for a period of ten (10) years from January 1, 1951, with an option to re- new for an additional term-of ten (10) years, upon the rental and other terms as specified insaid lease.
