The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 20, 1950, were approved as read. Moved by Burns, seconded by Carpenter, that a hearing on the re- zoning of the North- east corner of Fifth Avenue North and Popular Street be held on Friday, December 1, 1950, at 10 :00 o1 clock A.M. Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that the application of the National Bank of Commerce, Yakima Branch, for permission to reserve five meter spaces on 1dorth First Street to be used for Snorkles, is hereby granted: carried Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call, Burns voting no. ORDINANCE NO. B -1196, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 658, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that Ordinance No. B -1196, fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D. No. 658, be.passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE -NO. B -1197, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 661, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that Ordinance No. B -1197, fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D. 661, be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on. roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1198, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 666, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the pay- ment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, seconded'by Huey, that Ordinance No. B -11981 fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D. No. 666, be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE.NO. B -1199, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 690, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the pay- ment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, Seconded by Huey, that Ordinance No. B -1199, fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D-. No. 6901 be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1200, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 691, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the pay- ment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that Ordinance No. B -12002 fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D.No. 691, be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1201, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 692, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey that Ordinance No. B -1201, fixing time of delinquency and prescribing form of bond in L.I.D. No. 692, be passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, December 1, 1950 at 10 :00 o'clock A.M.: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, DECEMBER 1, 1950 The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and ,Commissioners Huey and Carpenter present on roll call. This being the time for the hearing on the petition for re- zoning of the property at the Northeast corner of 5th Avenue forth and Poplar Street, and after hearing argue - ments for and against said re- zoning by abutting property owners, it was moved by' Huey, seconded by Burns, that said petition be rejected: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1202, for the preservation of the public peace, safety, morality, and good order in the City of Yakima, by prohibiting false, misleading or unfounded reports to the Police Department; providing penalty for the violation thereof, and declaring an emergency. vioved by Burns, seconded by 'Carpenter, that Ordinance No. B -1202, prohibiting false, misleading or unfounded reports to the Police Department, was passed as read: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call. - Moved by Burns, seconded by Carpenter that we do now adjourn: carried Burns, Huey and Carpenter voting aye on roll call.
