The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Carpenter
and Huey present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, November 6; 1950, were approved as read.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that the City Engineer having filed the assessment
roll in L.I.D. No. 688 with the -City Treasurer,'said roll is hereby accepted, and the
City =Clerk instructed to give- notice of hearing on said roll for Monday, December 4,
1950, at 10 :00 o'clock A.M., by publication as required by law: carried Burns, Carp-
enter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Huey, seconded by Carpenter, that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to give
notice to contractors as required by law for"the construction of a sewer system from
Mead Avenue to Union Gap; said bids to be received on Monday, December 4, 1950, at
10:00 o'clock A.M.: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Burns, seconded by Huey, that we do now adjourn to meet Wednesday, 1�ovember 15,
1950, at 10 :00 o1clock A.M.: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call.
ADJOURNED MEETING, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15, 1950
The City Commission mat pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Burns and Commissioners Huey
and Carpenter present on roll call.
Moved by Burns, seconded by carpenter, that Dorman R. Nashem, Jr. heretofore, on the
7th day of November 1950, elected to the office of Justice of the Peace for Yakima
Precinct County, is hereby appointed Police Judge of the Lity of Yakima; said appoint-
ment to take effect'January 8, 1951: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Burns, seconded by Carpenter that we do now adjourn: carried Burns, Huey
and Carpenter voting aye on roll call.
