The minutes of the regular meetinf of Monday, October 30, 1950, were approved as read. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burns, that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -938, providing for the construction of curbs and gutters on South 5th Avenue and South 6thAvenue, and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or any part thereof except Logan Avenue from 4th Avenue south to 6th Avenue South; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1193, creating Local Improvement District No. 710 and eliminating Logan Avenue as above described, be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO.. B-1193, providing for the improvement of certain property by grading, ballasting, surfacing and constructing concrete curbs and gutters; establishing a a Local Improvement District, providing for the method of payment therefor, and creat- ing a special fund. Moved by Huey, seconded by Burnes, that 'Ordinance No. B -1194 providing for the vaca- tion of all streets and alleys east of the Naches and Cowiche Canal, west of 19th Avenue South, north of Tieton Drive and south of West Chestnut Street, be passed as read: carried Burns, Carpenter and Huey :voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1194, providing for the vacation of all streets and alleys lying with- in the property which lies easterly of the. Naches and Cowiche Canal, west of Nineteenth Avenue South, north of Tieton Drive and south of West Chestnut Street, all being streets in Yakima, Yakima (County, Washington; said,property being located in the South Half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 23, Township 13 forth, Range 18, E.W.M.
