The minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday, February 14, 1950, were approved as read. Moved by Clark., seconded by Buck that the !City.Clerk is hereby instructed to give notice to contractors for the construction of irrigation systems in L.I.D.•No's 658 and 666. Said bids to be received on Monday, March 6, 1950, at 10 o'clock a.m: carried"Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu- tion No. C -888, providing for the construction of an irrigation system on Englewood Avenue and other streets included in said district and there being objections thereto by certain property owners; It is ordered that said hearing be continued to Monday, February 27,.1950, at 10 o'clock a.m: carried Buck.. Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -11051 fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 651, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -1105 be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. t-11061, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 657, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the pay- ment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that Ordinance No. B -1106, be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting .aye on roll call. ORDINANtCE NO. B -1107, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 659, and providing for th6 issuance of bonds with coupons attached-for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -1107, be passed as read: 'carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO..B -1108, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 662, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -1108, be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANiCE NO. B- 1109, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 669, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -1109 be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn to meet Friday, the 24th day of February, 1950, at 10 o'clock a.m: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ADJOURNED MEETING, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1950 The City Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Buck and Commissioners Clark and Bishop present on roll call. Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for the hearing on the complaint of the !Chief of Police for an order revoking the cabaret license of Peter 14. Maier, doing business as the "Tropical Isle ", at 1109 South 3rd Street, and said Maier being represented by counsel and the .City Attorney representing the-City and after taking testimony in the case; It was ordered that said license be revoked: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
