The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, January 16, 1950, were approved as read:
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that the following outstanding warrants be cancelled
as of December 31, 1949; Warrant Number 49788 on the Current Expense Fund in-the sum
of $6,.0.0, Warrant Number 50909, Current Expense Fund-for $2.20, Warrant Number 50934,
Current Expense for $3.92, Warrant Number 55980, Current Expense Fund for :;1.60, Warrant
Number 56585, Current Expense Fund for $11.55, Warrant Number 29455, Water Fund for
$4.20, Warrant Number 30109, Water Fund for $4.73, Warrant Number 7500, Cemetery Fund
for $2.44: carried Bishop and,Clark voting aye on roll call. Buck absento
RESOLUTION NO. C -8881 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, Irm:
That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to
serve the following described property situate in the City of Yakima, Yakima County,
Washington, to-wit:.
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 7, Sinclair Plat,
'thence northerly along the easterly line of Sinclair Plat
to McKinley Avenue, thence easterly along McKinley Avenue -
10.2 feet, thence northerly and parallel with 23rd Avenue
North to Englewood Avenue, thence westerly along Englewood
Avenue to Power House Road, thence southeasterly along
Power House Road to Lincoln Avenue, thence easterly along
Lincoln Avenue to the point of beginning.
Said improvement to consist of the installation of necessary mains, laterals, service
connections and other appurtenances for the purpose of delivering water for irrigation
purposes to each lot within the proposed district described above and to be construc-
ted in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City
Engineer and filed with the City Clerk.
All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve-
ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting
of the City !Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima,
Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 20th day of
February, 1950, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters
relating to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the
method of .payment for said improvement; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give
due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid.improvement.
The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of
acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of
notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed
against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by
law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the
City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data
and other information.required by law to be by him submitted.

ORDINANCE NO. B -1094, eliminating the south 421 of Lot 40, Summitview Acre Tracts,
from irrigation maintenance charges of Local Improvement District No. 650; and the
.following described tract from irrigation maintenance charges of Local Improvement
District No. 308: Beginning 301 'Nest and 247.51 north of the southeast corner of the
NEA SEA NE4 Section 19, Township 13 North, Flange 19, E. W. M., thence north 890 541
west 233.4 feet, thence north 00 381 west 82.5 feet, thence south 890 541 east 233.4
feet, thence south 00 381 east 82.5 feet to beginning; known_ as City Tracts 131a and
131d.

portions of real estate from L.I.D.'s 650 and 308 from Irrigation Maintenance, be
passed as read: carried Bishop and tClark voting aye on roll call. Buck absent.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that we do now adjourn: carried Bishop and 'Clark
voting aye on roll call. Buck absent.
