The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Buck and `Commissioners Bishop and
Clark present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Tuesday, January 3, 1950 -, were approved as read-.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that the ordinance providing f or the expenditure of
funds not provided for in the 1950 budget for the purchase of equipment for the Police
Dept. be introduced at this time and laid on the table for one week: carried Buck,
Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by (Clark that the City Clerk is hereby instructed to call for
bids for a grader and roller for the Street Dept. on Thursday, January 12th, 1950, at
10 o'clock A.M: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that the City -Clerk is hereby instructed to give
notice to .bidders for the purchase of a truck and bed for the Sanitation Dept. and a
paint machine and truck for the Street Dept. Said bids to be received on Tuesday,
January-17th, 1950, at 10 o'clock A.M: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that the following report of the Investment
Committee for investments during December, 1949, be approved: -

RESOLUTION NO. 'C -886; WHEREAS, it is considered desirable and for the best interests
of the City of Yakima, for the orderly operation of the Yakima Municipal Airport, to
establish a schedule of uniform rates for occupancy of the Administration Building now
being constructed upon said Municipal Airport,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE 'CITY {COMMISSION:
Section 1. That the following schedule of rates for occupancy
of the Administration Building at the Yakima Municipal Airport be and the same hereby
is established, effective on the date of this Resolution.
TYPE OF SPACE AND SERVICES:
1. All areas adjoining lobby area
where utilities and janitor service
are furnished by _City,
2. All areas adjoining lobby area
where City furnishes janitor service
and occupant furnishes own utilities,
3. All areas adjoining lobby area
where occupant furnishes own utilities
and janitor service,
4. For all areas occupied by Governmental
agencies for which City is required to
furnish space at no cost, a charge will
be made to occupant for janitor service,
heat, light, water and other utilities
and maintenance of $75.00 per month.

All occupants who furnish their own electric power will have the same metered to them
on a separate meter inside of the master meter for the Administration Building and
will pay for all electric power metered to them at the normal rate charged for similar
occupancies by the agency furnishing electric power to the Airport premises.

Moved by ,Clark, seconded by Buck that this being the time for the hearing on the
assessment rolls in L.I.D. No! s '665, 667, 668 and 670 and there being insufficient
objections to said rolls, or any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinances No's
B -1082, B -1083, B -1084 and B -1085 respectively, confirming each and every district
above set forth and every part thereof, be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and
Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE ,NO. B -1082, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement
District No. 665 as created and established by .Ordinance No. B -1010 of the Ordinances
of the City of Yakima.
ORDINAN {CE NO. B -1083, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement
District No. 667 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1019 of the Ordinances
of the +City of Yakima.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1084, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement
District No. 668 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1017 of the Ordinances
of the City of Yakima,
ORDINANCE NO. B -1085, confirming the assessment roll covering Local Improvement
District No. 670 as created and established by Ordinance No. B -1020 of the Ordinances
of the City of Yakima.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1086, providing for and authorizing the conveyance of property owned
by the .City as park property to the Metropolitan Park District of Yakima, Washington,
for perpetual use as public parks and playgrounds.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Clark that Ordinance No. B -1086 providing for and author-
izing the-.conveyance of property owned by the City as parks, to the Metropolitan Park
District, for perpetual use as public parks and playgrounds, be passed as read:

Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that we do now adjourn to meet Thursday, January

The City 'Commission met pursuant to adjournment, Mayor Buck and 'Commissioners !Clark
-and Bishop present on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that this being the time for receiving bids on a
grader and roller for the Street Dept. The following bid for the roller was awarded to
Modern Machine 'Co. in the sum of $5,374.54. The award on the grader was postponed
until Monday, January 16, 1950: carried Buck, Bishop and ,Clark voting aye on roll call.
