The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Buck and Commissioners Bishop and
!Clark present on roll call. -.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, October 31, 1949, were approved as read.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Clark that the informal decision of the Commissioners to
award the contract for sidewalks in Local Improvement Districts No's 684 and 685 to
Gallagher and Brandt in the sum of $1476.80 and the execution of the contract for such
work are hereby ratified and confirmed: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on
roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that the City Engineer having reported the completion
of the alley east of 12th Avenue, paving district No. •676, said work is hereby accepted:
carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that the City Engineer having reported the completion
of the South Nob Hill storm sewer project; It is ordered that said work be accepted:
carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that the report of °the Finance +Committee for purchase
of investment's for the month of October ,1949, is hereby approved as follows:

$1275.00 for irrigation expenses not provided for in the 1949 budget be unanimously
passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1066, providing for the expenditure of funds not provided for in the
1949 budget for the purchase of material for irrigation maintenance and for the purchase
of water stock and assessments for irrigation purposes, and declaring an emergency.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY 'COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That said Petition shall be brought on for hearing and determination on
Monday, the 5th day of December, 1949, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock in the forenoon on
said day at the office of the City Commission of the City of Yakima, at the City Hall
in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, or as soon thereafter as the same may be heard,
and that notice of such hearing be given as provided by law.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 7th day of Novem-
