The City Commission met in regular session_,. Mayor Buck.and Commissioners Bishop and
Clark present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, May 16th, 1949, were approved as read:
carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Clark that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu-
tion No. C -830, providing for an irrigation system on South Nob Boulevard and other
streets in said district and there being considerable protest against said improvement
or-certain parts thereof; It is,ordered• that said hearing be continued until Tuesday,
May 31st 1949,.at 10 o'clock A.M-: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for the hearing on Resolu-
tion No. C-831 providing for the vacation of part of 14th Avenue South and there being
no objections in writing or otherwise to said vacation proceedings or any part there-
of; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1U12 vacating said portion of 14th Avenue
South, be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -1012, providing for the vacation of the Fast 10 feet and the West 10
feet of that part of South 14th Avenue in the City of Yakima, Washington, lying be-
tween the North boundary line of Chestnut Street and the South boundary line of
Terrace Street.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that the City Engineer having heretofore filed his
report certifying that the Fruitvale Sewer District No. 648 is completed and ready
for acceptance; It is ordered that improvement is hereby accepted: carried Buck,
Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. '
Moved by Buck, seconded by Bishop that we do now adjourn: carried Buck, Bishop and
Clark voting aye on roll call.
