The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, April 25, 1949, and adjourned meeting thereof be approved as read. ORDINANCE NO. B -1005, providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by constructing a Portland - Cement concrete sidewalk, five (5) feet in width; _establishing a Local Improvement District providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special fund. Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for hearing on Resolution No. C -825 providing fora domestic water system on 27th Avenue South and other streets in said district, and there being no objection in writing or otherwise to said improve- ment or any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1005 creating a local improvement district be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1006, providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by the construction of a domestic water system, establishing a local.im- r provement district, providing for the method of payment therefor and creating a special'' fund. .e Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that.this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -826 providing for a sidewalk on North 9th Street between East Yakima Avenue and "At' Street and there being no objections in writing or otherwise to said improvement or-any part thereof; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1006 creating a local improve- ment district be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Buck, seconded by Clark that this being the time set for the adjourned meeting on Resolution No. C -823, from Monday, April 25, 1949, and there being insufficient protest on the part of the property owners in said district to constitute the abandon- ment of said improvement; It is ordered that Ordinance No. B -1007 creating a local improvement district for said district be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1007, providing for the improvement of property in the City of Yakima, Washington, by constructing an irrigation system to serve various lots and tracts of land; establishing a local improvement district; providing for the method of payment therefor, and creating a special fund. '4. RESOLUTION NO. C -8301 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY C OMMI.SSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA, WN.: That it is its intention to construct an irrigation system to serve the following described property situate in the.City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, to -wit: Beginning at the intersection of Thirty-fourth Avenue South and Tieton Drive; thence easterly along Tieton Drive to Twenty -sixth Avenue South; thence southerly along Twenty -sixth Avenue South to the Naches and Cowiche Canal; thence westerly and southerly along the Naches and Cowiche 'Canal to Thirtieth Avenue South; thence southerly along Thirtieth Avenue South to the northwest corner of Lot 16, Mack's Plat; thence south- erly and easterly along the Naches and Cowiche Canal to Bonnie Doone Avenue, thence westerly along Bonnie Doone Avenge to Thirtieth Avenue South; thence southerly along Thirtieth Avenue South to the Naches and1Cowiche Canal; thence southerly and westerly along the Naches and Cowiche Canal to Grandview Avenue.; thence southerly along Grandview Avenue to Nob Hill Boulevard; thence westerly along Nob Hill Boulevard to Thirty - fourth Avenue South; thence northerly along Thirty- fourth Avenue South to the point of beginning. Said improvement to consist of the installation of necessary mains', laterals, service connections and other appurtenances for the purpose of delivering water,for irrigation purposes to each lot within the proposed district described above.and -to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Enginee and filed with the City Clerk. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improve- ment are hereby notified to appear and present such objection,.-if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hal in the "City of.Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., on Monday, the 23rd day of May, 1949, which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters re- lating to said proposed_ improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of payment for said improvement; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. The cost and expense of said improvement, including the cost of acquiring right of way easements, engineering, surveying, advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses incident thereto, shall be borne by and assessed against all of the property legally and properly assessable therefor as provided by law and as above described; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date fixed herein for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. IN THE MATTER OF THE VACATION OF the East 10 feet and the West 10 feet of that part of South 14th Avenue in the.City of Yakima, Washington,, lying between the North boundary line of Chestnut Street and the South boundary line of Terrace Street. RESOLUTION NO. C -831 A RESOLUTION fixing the time for.hearing on Petition for Vacation of Street. WHEREAS, a Petition has been filed with the City =Commission of the (City of Yakima, a municipal corporation, praying for the vacation of•a street described as follows, to- wit: The East 10 feet and the West 10 feet of that part of South 14th Avenue in the City of Yakima, Washington, lying between -the North boundary line of Chestnut Street and the South boundary line of Terrace Street, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE 'CITY OF•YAKIMA: That said Petition shall be brought on for hearing and determination on Monday, the 23rd day of May, 1949, at the hour of 10 :00 o'clock in the forenoon on said day at the office of the City !Commission of the City of Yakima, at the City Hall in Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, or as soon,thereafter as the same may be heard, and that notice of such hearing be given as provided by law._ ADOPTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 2nd day of May, 1949.
