The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Buck and Commissioners Bishop and
Clark present on roll call.
The-minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 14) 1949, were approved as read.
ORDINANCE NO. -B -992, providing for the vacation of a portion of East Spruce Street
adjacent to Block 13 of the Town of North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -992 vacating a portion of East
Spruce Street be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll
call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for- the hearing on Resolu-
tion No. -C -817 petitioning for the vacation of that part of So. 8th St. between Maple
Street and Beech Street; It is ordered that said hearing be continued to a later date:
carried Buck, Bishop and'Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution
No. C -818 for the construction of an irrigation system in Memorial Hospital vicinity;
It is ordered that said hearing be continued to a later date: carried Buck, Bishop
and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that an ordinance declaring an emergency in the sum
of $450.00 to be used for spare parts for parking meters, be read and laid on the table
for one week: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO.. B -993, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments'
levied for the payment-of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 625, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment
of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Bishop,-secbnded by Buck, that Ordinance No. B -993 be passed as read: carried
Buck, Bishop and (;lark voting aye on roll call.,
