The-minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, March 14) 1949, were approved as read. ORDINANCE NO. -B -992, providing for the vacation of a portion of East Spruce Street adjacent to Block 13 of the Town of North Yakima, now Yakima, Washington. Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -992 vacating a portion of East Spruce Street be passed as read: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that this being the time for- the hearing on Resolu- tion No. -C -817 petitioning for the vacation of that part of So. 8th St. between Maple Street and Beech Street; It is ordered that said hearing be continued to a later date: carried Buck, Bishop and'Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that this being the time for the hearing on Resolution No. C -818 for the construction of an irrigation system in Memorial Hospital vicinity; It is ordered that said hearing be continued to a later date: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that an ordinance declaring an emergency in the sum of $450.00 to be used for spare parts for parking meters, be read and laid on the table for one week: carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO.. B -993, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments' levied for the payment-of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No. 625, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of the unpaid portion thereof.
