The City Commission met in regular session, Mayor Buck, and Commissioners Bishop and
Clark present on roll call.
The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, December 27, 1948 and adjourned meeting
thereof be approved as read.
Moved by Buck, seconded by Clark that A. C. Cherry be reappointed to the F.R. & P. and
P R. & P. XXXXXXXXXXXXX Boards for a period of six years, beginning January 1, 1949:
carr77ied Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that the report of the City Engineer of the comple-
tion of the Modern Addition Storm sewer in the sum of $47,101.51 is hereby accepted:
carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that the report of the City Engineer of the comple-
tion'of the Pierce Avenue Storm Sewer in the sum of $1,595.42 is hereby accepted:
carried Buck, Bishop and :Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that the report of the City Engineer of the comple-
tion of the North 8th St. Relief Sewer from East " C" St. to East "G" St; thence west
on East "G" St. to the Alley west of North 7th St; thence North along said alley to
the south line of East "h-" St., in the sum of $8,580.41 is hereby accepted: carried
Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Bishop that the report of the City Engineer of the comple-
tion of the West Side Storm Sewer in the sum of $45,041.82 is hereby accepted:
carried Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -960, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments
levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District No.
621, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment of
the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -960 be passed as read: carried
Buck, Bishop and Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -961, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments
levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 633, and providing for the issuance of bonds with coupons attached for the payment
of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by (Clark, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -961 be passed as read: carried
Buck, Bishop and =Clark voting aye on roll call.
ORDINANCE NO. B -962, fixing the time of delinquency of installments of assessments
levied for the payment of the cost of the improvement in Local Improvement District
No. 653, and providing for the method of payment of the unpaid portion thereof.
Moved by Clark, seconded by Buck that Ordinance No. B -962 be passed as read: carried
Buck, Bishop and ,Clark voting aye on roll call.
Moved by Bishop, seconded by Buck that the report of the Finance Committee for invest-
ment purchases for the month of December, 1948, be approved as follows:
