The minutes of the regular meeting of Monday, September 19, 1955 were:- approved as read. This being the time for passing the ordinance providing for the expenditure of funds not budgeted in the sum of $2,000.00 for repairs to wooden irrigation pipe line and the diversion dam on the Naches River; same having been read in full by the City Clerk and laid on the table for two weeks; it was MOVED by Huza, seconded by Burns that Ordinance No. B -1749 relative to the above expenditure be passed as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. ORDINANCE NO. B -1749, AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds not budgeted for the irrigation department, and declaring an emergency. Moved by Huey, seconded by Huza that Resolution No. C -1292; being a resolution of inten- tion to construct a pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches_.and manholes, and fixing the date of hearing as of Monday, the 17th day of Ocmber_1955, at the hour of 10 o'clock a.m. be adopted as read: carried, Burns, Huza and'.Huey. voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -1292, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That it is its intention to improve the property within the following described district, by constructing a pipe sewer with the necessary wye branches and manhole; all of said improvement to be constructed in full accordance with the plans and specifications to be prepared by the City Engineer and filed with the City Clerk. The district to be served by and specially benefited by and assessed for the above described improvement is situate in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, and is described as follows: Lots 1 to 7 inclusive, 'of Heyduck Park No. 2, in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington. All persons who may desire to object to said proposed improvement are hereby notified to appear and present such objection, if any, at a meeting of the City Commission to be held at its office in the City Hall in the City of Yakima, Yakima County, Washington, at the hour of 10 o'clock a.m. on Monday, the 17th day of October; 1955; which time and place are hereby fixed for the hearing of all matters relatng to said proposed improvement or objections thereto, and for determining the method of pay- ment for said improvement; and the City Clerk is hereby directed to give due notice of said hearing and of the intention to make the aforesaid improvement. All costs and expenses in connection with, the construction of said improvement, including the, engineering, inspection; advertising, publication of notices, and all other expenses,-:incident thereto, shall be levied and assessed against the above described property embraced within said Local Improvement District as provided by law; and the City Engineer is hereby directed to submit to the City Commission at or prior to the date herein fixed for said hearing, all of the data and other information required by law to be by him submitted. BURNS Mayor Moved by Huza, seconded by Huey that Resolution No. C -1293 authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Yakima to execute a lease, on behalf of said City with the Yakima Medical Service Association Inc., of the old Police Station located at 10.-East Walnut Street for a period of 5 years at an agreed rental of $275.00 per month, of which the first rent accruing to the extent of not to exceed $1,500.00, is payable by certain im- provements to be made on said premises by said lessee, -be adopted as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -1293, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute on behalf of said city a lease to Yakima Medical Service Association, Inc., on the old police station building at 10 East Walnut Street in said city, for a term of 5 years at an agreed rental of .$275.00 per month, of which the first rent accruing to the extent of not exceeding $1500.00 is payable by certain improvements to be made on said premises by said Lessee, said lease being according to the terms and conditions more fully stated therein, a copy thereof being attached hereto. Phillips the right to use two stalls for limousine service located directly west of the entrance of the Yakima Municipal Administration building on the north side thereof, be-adopted as read: carried, Burns, Huza and Huey voting aye on roll call. RESOLUTION NO. C -1294, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: That the `'ity of Yakima hereby agrees th3 t Frank P. Phillips may have the use of two stalls for limousine service, marked as limousine stalls, and located directly west of the entrance of the administration building and on the north side thereof at the Yakima Municipal Airport, the exact-location thereof to be designate by the city airport manager, for a period of one year from and after September 15, 19551. subject to the payment by him to the city of the sum of $120.00 as annual rental payable . in advance therefor; and thereafter this arrangement shall continue indefinitely until cancelled and terminated at the option of either party at the end of any such annual period, subject to the payment of said annual rental therefor.
