4. Consent Agenda
All items listed on the Consent Agenda are considered routine by the City Council and will be
enacted by one motion without discussion. A citizen or Council member may request to remove an
item from the Consent Agenda, and if approved, it will be considered in its normal sequence on the
agenda.

K. Resolution authorizing an Agreement with Sargent Engineers, Inc., in an amount
not to exceed $6,021, for engineering services required to develop a bridge
replacement /rehabilitation report for the 18th Street Underpass
L. Resolution authorizing City Manager to execute consent to assignment of contract
for paratransit (Dial -A -Ride) services, from Medstar Cabulance, Inc. to Medstar,
LLC.
M. (A). Resolution authorizing execution of a Nonexclusive License Agreement with
the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to host an annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta.
(B). Resolution authorizing temporary street closures for the Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce of Yakima County's to host an annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta.
N. (A.) Resolution authorizing a Nonexclusive License Agreement with Yakima Valley
Sports Commission's annual Hot -Shots 3 -on -3 Basketball Tournament.
(B.) Resolution authorizing temporary street closures for the Yakima Valley Sports
Commission annual Hot -Shots 3 -on -3 Basketball Tournament.
5. Audience Participation
Community members are invited to address items that are not listed on the regular business
meeting agenda. A guideline of three (3) minutes per speaker is in place in order to allow as
much opportunity as possible for audience participation. A speaker's time may be extended at the
discretion of the Mayor and /or the consensus or vote of the Council. Written communication and
e -mail messages are strongly encouraged.
CITY MANAGER REPORTS
6. Set Date of March 20, 2012 for a Public Hearing regarding the Amended TBD Project
List
7. City Manager's report related to an Amendment to the 2012 Annual Action Plan
concerning the budget reduction of CDBG and HOME program funding.
8. Adjournment
The next Council Business meeting will be March 6 at 6 PM in the Yakima City Hall
Council Chambers

A. Council General Information
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall
be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The
views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed
or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or
views of this, or any other speaker.
A Council packet is available for review at the City Clerk's Office and the Library. A
packet is also available on line at www.ciyakima.wa.us under Quick Picks.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space
or language interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please
