Re: Yakima Police and Legal Center Expansion Study
Project No. 1052.07
Dear Jeff
As you are aware we have been providing professional services preparing a long range expansion
strategy for the Police and Legal Center. The study has continued over a longer time frame than we
anticipated. This has led to the need to update information and meet with appropriate client
representatives additional times. This was not envisioned in our fee proposal of July 27, 1999. At this
time we estimate an additional $3,000 in addition to amounts already billed will be necessary to see the
study through to conclusion.
The study is a part of our on -going consulting contract for the Police and Legal Center.
Fee Maximum: $88,500.00
Amount for initial building
construction - 55.000.00
Study Amount 33,000.00
Study Amount billed (including
3/6/01 Statement) 35,046.76
Study Additional 3.000.00
38,046.76
Study Previously Approved - 33,000.00
$ 5,046.76 (round to $5,000.00)
We are requesting and additional $5,000.00. The new not to exceed contract amount will be
$93,500.00, of which $38,000 will be the maximum billing for the study.
Should the above meet with your approval please sign and return one copy of this letter thereby
authorizing continuing services. We look forward to on -going services to the City and the Police and
Legal Center management and staff.
Sincerely Approved:
